Even before he enrolled at the private Narukami High School, Saiga Ryusuke was approached by a man calling himself Jingasaki Sho to join the Narukami Academy Occult Club. Ryusuke had no intention of joining the club to begin with, and felt disgust towards Jingasaki's persistent solicitation. Though he was not keen on joining, Ryusuke began to sense the strangeness of the various urban legends that were spreading around the school. A friend of a friend asked him to help a certain woman. Ryusuke was approached by Jingasaki and began to interact with Togashi Minami, the current president of the Occult Club, but he refused to join because he disliked having relationships with people. One day, he was approached by Kuramochi Chinatsu, a girl who likes the occult and lives next door, with a strange request. After hearing this request, Takayasu steps into the world of complex human relationships and the mystery of a swirling urban legend...
